Today, I want to give honor and share with you a brief version of the testimony from one of the main and possibly the longest-running standing ministries that I am aware of. God has used this ministry mightily over the last couple of decades, and I want to honor them and highlight them to you today. Charlyne and Bob separated several times throughout their marriage due to Bob's anger issues and his unfaithfulness. Charlyne sought the counsel of her pastor and counselors, who told her Bob would never change and she was justified to divorce him. After 19 years of marriage, she did. Charlyne's heart had become hardened. She was angry, refused to forgive again, and did not seek the Lord's will. Shortly after the divorce, Charlyne heard the testimony of a couple with a restored marriage at her church. God touched her heart. Charlyne's life was changed as she surrendered her life to the Lord forever. Two years later, in response to the prayers of a wife who had refused to give up on her prodigal husband, Bob and Charlyne were remarried They started a ministry called Rejoice Marriage Ministries over 25 years ago as a Bible study class for women facing marriage issues. It has turned into an International ministry where people around the world can find support as they learn through God's Word what He can do for their marriage. Bob and Charlyne have written over 20 books on marriage restoration. Their testimony was dramatized worldwide on "UNSHACKLED!" from Pacific Garden Mission in Chicago. They have appeared on TBN, have been interviewed on radio and television, and have had newspaper and magazine stories of their testimony.
