A Wall Of Fire Is Surrounding Your Spouse As You Stand For Marriage Restoration
A Wall Of Fire Is Surrounding Your Spouse As You Stand For Marriage Restoration: “‘For I,’ declares the Lord, ‘will be a wall of fire around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’” - Zechariah 2:5 (NASB) Today, as you stand and believe in the restoration of your marriage, I want you to take heart in the powerful promise found in Zechariah 2:5. The Lord declares, “For I will be a wall of fire around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.” This verse beautifully describes the divine protection, purification, and presence that God offers to His children when they’re in challenging seasons. Today, I want you to envision and believe that a wall of fire surrounds your spouse. The imagery of a wall of fire paints an incredible picture of God’s protective presence surrounding your spouse. Just as walls safeguard a city from external threats, God’s fiery protection encircles your spouse and shields them from the assaults of the enemy. The fiery wall is a barrier against spiritual attacks, negative influences, or harmful decisions that might threaten your spouse or your marriage. In moments of worry or fear, visualize this powerful protection around your spouse, serving as an impenetrable shield. So, as you pray and think about your spouse, remember that God’s fire is a powerful defense against any schemes the enemy may be devising against them and your family. God’s fire not only protects but also purifies. Fire has the remarkable ability to consume impurities and refine precious metals. In the same way, I believe God’s holy fire is at work in your spouse’s life, purifying them from their sins, doubts, or struggles they are facing. This purifying aspect of God’s fire is crucial in the restoration process. Just as fire refines and purifies, God is working to refine your spouse’s heart and mind, to clear away any doubts, fears, or hurts that may be hindering their return to the marriage. This purification process is essential for true healing and restoration. It prepares both of you for a renewed relationship that is stronger, more resilient, and more deeply rooted in God’s love. So, as you stand and believe, trust that God’s fire is melting away impurities, leaving behind a heart that is cleansed and prepared to return to the marriage. Zechariah 2:5 also shows us that God’s presence and glory are right in the midst of your spouse. It’s easy to think that because of your spouse’s current actions, they are alone and far from God’s touch, but this promise reminds us that God’s presence is constant and right there with them. His glory is still shining as a guiding light through their darkness, offering comfort and strength, and it is a constant encouragement guiding them back home. Allow the presence of God’s glory in the midst of your spouse, as described in Zechariah 2:5, to be a source of hope and comfort. Let it remind you that even in their wandering or confusion, your spouse is never beyond the reach of God’s love and guidance. It’s a beacon of hope, a reminder that God is actively working in their life, even if it’s not immediately visible. As you stand for your marriage, take comfort in knowing that your battle for your marriage is under God’s watchful eye and powerful protection. His fire guards, His fire purifies, and His glory guides. Stand firm in this promise, and let it fuel your prayers and strengthen your faith. God is with you and your spouse every step of the way. Yes, this restoration journey may sometimes feel like an uphill battle but know that God’s presence never wavers. Even when circumstances seem discouraging, remember that God’s glory is in the midst of this trial, orchestrating His perfect plan for restoration.
